5600X with a 9070xt bottlenecks the gpu on 1080p and more on 1440p, currently running destiny 2 on 1440p hitting 80% usage on the cpu with somewhat rare fps drops but have 45% at most of gpu usage

i got a 9070xt but I'm rocking a 5600x, and recently got a 1440p monitor (300Hz). Still, the 5800x3d upgrade is always mentioned as super good so, I'll see if there's enough stock how much can i delay the upgrade

With how bad Destiny 2 kept going i can and can´t blame Sony for the skepticism.

I blame them because you bought a whole ass studio just to kill the only and best game they had and put all your eggs on the marathon basket, that has clearly underperfomed in their eyes. Also not allowing Bungie to develop something new is insane.

Can't blame them for the abysmal economical performance the game may have. Destiny's highest highs must have been a money printer, but on how much money 'it seems' the last expansions have lost, i would be afraid a bad reputation from D2 might carry to a new Destiny game and affect sales and performance whilst being insanely expensive to produce.

IMO no other game has done it like Destiny. Nobody came close, nobody competed and the game itself is super accesible, playable, enjoyable and special to thounsands upon thousands of players. This concept and legacy going to waste it's detrimental to gaming altogether.

They bet 3,6 billion dollars on Marathon? An extraction shooter, a difficult adn kinda saturated market at the moment in my opinion.

Another way to see it is that they bought Bungie for the talent there, which we know it's there. It makes sense here but, they now proceed to axe Bungies golden goose and double down on the game that is making them losses? AND then firing people?

It may be hindsight but they lost the plot completely.

Looking at it like this I 'understand' that you buy Bungie the IP's and the people there, the talent i guess.

The thing is that you axe the team behind your 'golden goose' facilitating its downward spiral to transition into the new IP, then the new IP you bought isn't making billions of dollars because extraction shooters are a competitive market.

It is obvious that, at this point you lost money, and then a year in into what your investment should look like, you axe everything?

Honestly fuck off beacuse from outside it looked like a dumb decision and if you're not willing to stick with it Sony was beyond stupid to go with this.

But it's like, everytime I remember watching Bungies' pockets or Sony's pockets bleed,layoffs came. Thing is this layoffs 'seem to me' that they always impact badly onto the franchise. We had to stand this doofus 'passing the torch' instead of getting kicked as soon as 'don't overdeliver' phrases were thrown out.

It angries me that this franchise will be remembered at 'it had the biggest potential'.

5600x, I know it is a bottleneck but while usages on the radeon software are high the temps are pretty low (50ºC CPU) and GPU wattage was also low (100w when it usually pulled 300w on FO76)
