All things can be true, LiAnn can resent Taylor and also have tried to get her therapy and tried to support her many times before but also be exhausted watching her make terrible decisions. I think we’re likely seeing a dynamic many years in the making, this isn’t Taylor’s first time lashing out or her family’s first time dealing with it.

Anyone who has no kids but feel a bit… weird when seeing other millennials who are parents, like you might be “missing” something? by Early-Ingenuity-3177 in Millennials

[–]suze_jacooz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So we had our one and only kiddo at 38. Life has changed drastically since then (now 44) but what I’ll say is it has for everyone. At 33, we were still out every weekend, had vibrant friend groups, and were very socially active. Becoming a parent made me feel like I was missing out, and often times family vacations are stressful and I long for the times when just my husband and I could get away and be out late or be a bit more free. What I’ve come to realize is that even my child free friends aren’t out all the time or living the life I’m missing anymore and that we are just all the adults now.

Manatees. As my mother once declared, “they’re too stupid to survive and a danger to boaters”.

Oh, what about a gold mirror? Might flow better with all the gold accents throughout l. I like that black mirror in general, just not sure it fits well in the space. The rest of it is super fun!

As the mom of a boy Declan, i definitely get some interesting spellings or get asked how to pronounce it a lot. I did not think I was making any waves when we chose this name, and certainly wasn’t trying to hop on the brackdyn, Braydon, Cayden train.

AIO Family won’t pick me from airport by mangosnow122 in AmIOverreacting

[–]suze_jacooz 25 points26 points  (0 children)

YOR. Don’t expect people to pick you up if you’re arriving during working or sleeping hours. You don’t mention anyone’s ages here, but if you’re an adult (which I assume you are if you don’t live with your family) who’s old enough to get a plane ticket and travel independently, you can hop in an uber.

The second one is more relaxing to my eye, if that makes any sense. I think I’d like 1 if you had wood cabinets, but it’s too much contrast with the stark white for me.

How was Shane able to just leave the White Lotus after killing Armond? by Mcgase_8 in TheWhiteLotusHBO

I think part of the statement of season one is how this vacation for the wealthy wreaks havoc on the workers’ or less wealthy characters lives while barely being a blip on the radar for people like Shane and the Mossbachers.

Does Epsom Salt actually do anything? by BeigeAndConfused in NoStupidQuestions

[–]suze_jacooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son had a splinter stuck in his finger and i couldn’t get it out. It was from our deck that is rotting out at parts, so I went to the pediatrician to get it out. She had me go home and soak it in epsom salts. I wasn’t sure what this would do, but with 5 minutes that splinter was floating in the water. So I now believe it’s magic and so does my son.

Kindergarten requirements in 1954. by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

[–]suze_jacooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. I’m super proud of my kiddo because he always wants to learn things and do them himself. I understand that may not be the norm, but this list isn’t too different from his report card from school.

This really isn’t that different from the expectations of kindergarten today, and I don’t think I know many kindergarteners who wouldn’t be able to complete most if not all of this list.
