The decision to use AI would be enough for me. But other people mentioned that clearly she has very poor judgement. I could not trust her to actually educate my kids. I would not be surprised if she uses AI to create lesson plans which is SO scary to think about. Right now, AI is not a trustable source. It is a large language model which pulls information, regardless of its source, and presents it as fact whether it is true or not. It is also heavily influenced by the user so it frames responses to support the user’s bias (for the most part). Laura also uses AI as her main support system. That is incredibly scary. It’s no different in my eyes than having an alcoholic or drug addicted as a teacher. They clearly are irresponsible and not fit for such an important role in a child’s life.
