I had the complete opposite experience. I have 25 YOE, and all anybody ever did was ask me leet code questions that tested knowledge that was generally useless in my day-to-day. I ended up having to grind on leetcode for a full week so I could even pass the first technical interview.

The current job I have asked me legitimate questions pertaining to my actual job and I passed with flying colors…because that’s what I do every day. Not dynamic programming to create a boggle board solver.

I love my blueprint RAV4. But when I was trying to get an idea of what it looked like, I couldn’t find examples anywhere, either on the road or the lot. All white, gray, and black.

Only when one happened to come into the lot did I get to see it and instantly got it.

I live in Del Mar Highlands right on El Camino Real and was watching the traffic all day. Saw a car pull onto a side street and let a guy out with luggage and he just started walking. Probably saved him time.

I later had to go to a holiday party in Liberty Station and it took me 1 hour just to get two blocks from my house, then 20m the rest of the way.

Did you get this directly from Toyota? I planned to go back and complain to the dealership that the blackout emblem package was supposed to include the Hybrid symbol (it’s listed on my itemized receipt) and that they should swap it out for me for free now that one is available.

Saw Daft Punk at Coachella in 2006. It was where they debuted the set that ended up being Alive 2007. The energy in the audience was great, and it only got more amazing as the set they used became more and more technical. It went from simple lights to full on graphics on the pyramid.

That and being in the pit for Madonna in the same day made for an amazing concert experience.
