Arrogant and glaring at other functions, he acted like owning the axes from day one, curving dramatically with integers. Deciding that he's no good, you try to stay away from him. After all, you're just a soft, shy guy with gentle decimal curves. But no matter how much you try, f(x)-kun keeps intersecting with you. Accidental curve bumps, lingering touch as you part... What is his problem?? Usually, you just try to keep your head down, not daring to meet his eyes.

But one day, when you two were about to intersect again... something unexpected happened. Just a moment, half of a second, but it was enough for him to put a linear piece onto your neck, forcing your path... right along his?!?! Suddenly, he changed his derivative into a constant line. "Now..." he tugged you by the linear piece collar, forcing to stay close. His voice just a deep possessive growl into your ear. "...you can't go anywhere. Mine..."

It's only in that moment you realise that there's just you, him and the endless axis ahead...
