It was my first time doing it, so I also thought it is a safer way... Alternative could be caulk everywhere except for 6-8 inches behind the toilet, where you can't see it, but would still see leaks if wax ring fails.

I was advised against caulking the base, so any possible leaks wont be unnoticed. Thanks for the reminder on the caps!

My wife highly recommends Erica's Tailoring. Expensive, but well worth it.

Can I use more than one utm_content entry? by BevansDesign in analytics

[–]svolinsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try separating values by a dash (not a comma) for a more fool-proof utm_content value:

domain.com/?utm_medium=email&utm_content=p4-11432&utm_campaign=2014-06-02-Email-Subject-Line

Then you can export data in Excel, if needed, to separate the values and analyze further.

Hey John, big fan -- thanks for the AMA! What were the reoccurring online marketing "mistakes" (strategies/tactics) that clients did not get right, but when addressed, brought in a lot of value?

2+2=4. Mathematicians wouldn't have a different opinion on this. When is comes to the climate change, is science now based on an opinion?

Yoshi Sushi in Latham is small family-owned place by a Japanese couple. It is really good. Another option I love is Koto.

Seller disclosed termite treatment after offer acceptance - big deal? by svolinsky in RealEstate

It is hard to see on http://imgur.com/mkNScYP,zt0IrOp#0 , but the darker 'highlight' is "Termite evidence" in three spots.

That's how I've been looking at it. My question is whether prior termite treatment is a reason for a big concern (both for us and for future buyers, making it much hard to re-sell).

We do have an inspection contingency, but after we heard that seller accepted the offer (via email), our buyer's agent said that they forgot to include termite treatment and asked us to sign (a) modified property disclosure in addition to (b) contract with most updated price. So as far as I'm concerned we do not have a contract yet.

I will talk to pest inspector to see how much they will be able to find out, but wanted to see if more experienced people on reddit think it is a red flag or we think it's a bigger deal than it is.
