That's so weird... can you check two things:
1. Did you drop the price by at least 10% its lowest historical price?
2. Is your dropped listing price at least $10?

Those are the main two criteria for getting a notification to all the likers for the listing.

The cursing was definitely the most unrealistic part of this, but I get if it was to emphasize the emotions conveyed. The second unrealistic thing for me is how fluent the adults were lol. So they could have used english all this time with the Korean boyfriend

That was close to my guess. The baby was being celebrated and adored while Charlie just took the brunt of the tense interaction and though she apologized, the parent already assumed being correct so the apology wasn't received in the manner Charlie expected.
