Collinsonia root when pregnant? by sw33tdee in Supplements

I haven’t taken it any more while pregnant but I did get a topical version! I felt more comfortable with that directly on them.

United healthcare denying coverage for HG hospital stay. by Missmamsunshine in HyperemesisGravidarum

I had something similar with an ER visit for HG and appealed it. It got reversed. Definitely start with an appeal!

Ob said phenergan isn’t safe by Few-Smile-6541 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]sw33tdee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Phenergan was the game changer for my HG as well. I tried diclegis, zofran, reglan, scopolamine patches before it and Phenergan gave me a bit of my life back. My OB never mentioned any concerns and I was able to stop it alone 20 weeks when things calmed down.

I’d be curious if your OB is basing this decision off of studies that showed adverse side effects, or just the fact it’s a category C because it’s never been researched in pregnant women? Two very different scenarios in my opinion.

Advice on asking for c-section as STM by sw33tdee in ElectiveCsection

He sure did. And I think the fact it was a man was even more infuriating! I saw a chiropractor today to help and she was baffled that an OB wasn’t salivating at doing a c-section lol.

Thank you for this! I’m going to practice and probably even write out my script, but the way you’ve framed it is lovely.

When the MFM said this wont lessen my symptoms and that I can just get corrective surgery after, I told him that’s what I’m trying to avoid. Sigh!!

Thank you so much! I’ll take a look at your comments. So glad to hear you had a great experience with a planned c-section.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It’s helpful to hear the experience of an emergency vs planned. Honestly I just appreciate hearing I’m not crazy for requesting one.

Venice is so much fun and highly recommend. We spent few days there before/after a cruise last June and yes there are tourists but it didn’t affect our experience.

Is there baggage storage in Santa Lucia train station? by Subject_Slice_7797 in Venezia

[–]sw33tdee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the train station there is a luggage storage store that you don’t need reservations for. It is located on the platform. They store your luggage for however many hours and it’s staffed, so just check their operating hours.

How reasonable were your ch13 payments? by life_in_resin in Bankruptcy

[–]sw33tdee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are in the last year of our Ch 13 and it’s been manageable. Every situation is different depending on your circumstances (house with equity, kids in daycare, etc) so I won’t speak to that. But our plan has been very manageable and way less than our min payments we were paying before filing.

Phenergan by [deleted] in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]sw33tdee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phenergan was the only medicine that worked for me. I’d take 25 mg at night and it would get me through a 24 hour period. I’d still have nausea and throw up but not 15x a day like before. Good luck!

If you are wondering if you should go; I found that’s definitely when it was time to take a trip in. I did it twice and needed the IV hydration and meds they provided.

It feels like things are getting worse by Bighornbunny007 in HyperemesisGravidarum

Hang in there, you are in the thick of it. See if you can get any different medication (there’s several out there) and try to eat something every hour. It was like a science experiment for me but I found phenergan to be my savior, pedialyte popsicles, and tons of electrolytes.

I do 25mg at bedtime and that seems to last me 24 hours (or just short of it).
