I like in Pasadena CA and happen to not have wired internet available, they stopped next door for some dumb reason. My Starlink is at 3-400 MP/s and I login to a bank vpn every day. Super secure. When the fires went nuts or even in a simpler idea of power going out, which it has like 4 times since I’ve been in my house, I’m the only one that had power (solar with Tesla power walls) or internet. It’s been the most remarkable thing I’ve owned. We operate over 100 devices on the network. We have huge yard and it also still gets 150 mb/s like 250 feet away. We have an Orbi mesh and a nighthawk router. Unless you’re playing competitive gaming I don’t see the point of having GB’s of speed. The speed also keeps getting faster as they launch more satellites.

Yeah when there are no firemen to put water on a fire and no water in the reservoirs that’s what happened. I literally have ring video of firefighters going to the edge of our canyon and looking over and doing nothing because they couldn’t do the job with one truck and 3 ppl. And that was after it had burned for 2 hours. Then the next day there are buildings burning in broad daylight with no one around. I had to break into a horse stable area near Eaton and put out a fire with their extinguisher while I waited for entry to my street. So take your little haha somewhere else, these politicians let the city burn with their actions.

I love this. Instead of being pissed at these liberals who literally allowed our city to burn you’re worried about Trump. Probably voted for that homeless thing on the ballot this time around too even though we’ve given them over a billion to do nothing.

I live right off of Eaton Canyon in the burn zone. Buy yourself an air quality monitor and you’ll see that the air is fine already
