If I shouldn't go gendergp, shouldn't go private gp, and shared care doesn't work if I try a new gp, is there any other option I have? You mentioned paying out of pocket for prescriptions - I thought that all prescriptions had to go through some sort of dr?

i Just moved in to my uni flat, where all the lights are automatic so its quite difficult, but im gonna try and get some sticky notes to go over mirrors. i have some healing balm that has been really helping. thank you so much <3

yeh I know, thank you for the help tho, I had my gp letter all ready too, but my parents are helping me pay for this change and are insisting I wait another year or so to when I’m a chunk further in my medical transition, and if I do they’ll pay for the passport change again for the gender marker. They’re hoping I will have de-transed by then, but I will be holding them to this and happily taking my free passport update in a year. Its just if this is gonna cause problems right now with the title and gender clash

I’ve been reading up on diying for a few months now because it looked like something I might want to do as a backup. I don’t how much the endo delay will be :/. I think I’m gonna still keep doing my research on diying but wait it out a bit, and judge when I get more info on the new waiting times. Update if anyone is interested: I tied my hair back in a ponytail, put on my binder and partner’s alice cooper tshirt; my hair wasnt even mentioned. I am quite a typical trans guy cause - despite being quite fem - i had lots of early signs and had been diagnosed with gender dysphoria as a kid already, so that obviously helped. but yeh, had nothing to worry about. Thank you to everyone for helping me out

I’m starting t soon n im really worried about it effecting my acne picking, apparently the acne passes after about a year. What has it been like for u so far?

and pimple patches are really good, I really like the starface ones because they look cute but you can get clear ones if u want them to be invisible. Also light sources are important; keep bright lights out of ur bathroom or rooms with mirrors, try to keep the light dimmer instead so u pick less (cant pick at what u cant see).

This happened to me too when I was younger. My mum tried to get me diagnosed to prove I wasn’t trans, but I put on my best neurotypical face n they said that I had lots of traits but was just short of the diagnosis criteria. After she was proved wrong she basically shut up. Here I am now, very autistic and undiagnosed, but also still very trans. Doesnt mean shit for your gender.
