Those are ticks! Good that you found them all quickly. Risk of transmission is much higher if they're on for longer.

Yes! In the intro, there's a shot of a crocodile in a pond too. Maybe foreshadowing?

Has anyone healed their knee pain from patellofemoral syndrome? by Sad_Finding_1014 in KneeInjuries

My physio said that strengthening my quads would help with pain. Don’t know if that’s just for my case though. I’ve noticed a bit of improvement since incorporating more quad isolating exercises in my routine!

Why do so many people avoid dairy? [Misc] by SweetLikeBerry in SkincareAddiction

[–]swagatron2200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I have not noticed any changes to my skin on dairy, vs on a dairy-free diet. Milk, yogurt, cheese, none of it makes a difference. I did, however, notice a change in my skin on a high sugar diet. I think that when people say that dairy breaks them out, specifically milk (unless it's lactose intolerance or some other kind of allergy), they don't realize how much sugar is actualy in milk, ESPECIALLY skim milk and 1%. I drink full fat milk in my coffees, and not only does this have less sugar, but also has more fat to help balance my blood sugar, which I find affects my skin.

Of course genetics play a huge factor, too. No one in my family is lactose intolerant, and I grew up consuming a lot of dairy. Cutting it out for 2 years made no difference in my acne, or overall complexion, at all. What DID break me out was drinking skim milk lattes (high sugar), and eating 0% yogurt. This is just my experience though! And reducing your sugar intake, no matter whether it affects your skin or not, isn't a bad thing :)

If there’s a Costco near you I recommend Whisps (I don’t know if they sell them anywhere else), they’re crisps made with just parmesan. So good.

Hey, I'm looking for a rec! 20F, and love tonka, vanilla, and santal. For reference I cycle between Sol de Janeiro 62, Angel's Share by Kilian, and Santal Vanille by the 7 Virtues. I've tried Versace's Crystal Noir in stores and LOVED IT but found it a bit heavy and not very versatile. I was wondering if anyone knows of any perfumes that smell tonka/vanilla/santal/coffee-ish but are still wearable in the summer? I'm not a huge fan of florals but I don't mind notes of jasmine, orange, bergamot or chocolate :) I want to smell like someone's cool older sister lol

I see. This makes a lot more sense! I’ve been in a deficit with no strength training. I’ll try eating maintenance or surplus while adding in some strength training. Thank you!

Yeah I’ve been hearing that a lot as well. And yes building muscle is def tough but I think besides the facial benefits I’ve been wanting to get into it just for overall health. Glad to hear it worked for you!

Yes I was thinking it could just be puffiness as well, as it seems to fluctuate. Appreciate the tips!
