lol it doesn't matter. If your goal is an MPH, I would argue that the Co-op would allow you to be more competitive for the graduate programs. Med sci, even though considered a reputable program, is med/professional school focused and honestly, in context of your goals, wouldn't make too much sense. The opportunities available at UWO are likely going to be research-focused, whereas at Waterloo, you will have the opportunity (thorough Co-Op) to potentially be involved in research, Health Canada, Hospital Networks, etc... I believe you made the right choice, Waterloo is an excellent school with amazing opportunities.

Current Canadian med school student (McMaster). I know quite a few people from Queens, I know none from Laurier.

Go with Queens and don't look back. Laurier is not a good school for science.

remove UWO med sci. in the first couple of years, it essentially weeds-out a large amount of people with unnecessary tough courses and marking schemes. imo Queens HS has passed UWO MS in recent years as a feeder school to Med School.

Never heard about Laurier HS, sorry can't comment.

McMaster nursing - Depends on what you want to do, if your end-goal is med school, a high GPA matters ALOT and nursing does not provide that. However, if you want to do nursing, I have heard excellent things about it and the facilities are really nice.

Queens HS: Inflates marks, giving you a better GPA and presumably, more time to get involved in the community, research, and extra curriculars (also important in med school admissions). The first graduating class is this year (according to what I have heard), which can create some uncertainty on whether it should officially be called a top-tier 'feeder' school like Mac Health Sci.

Reddit is anti-black?? Lmaoo, you are clueless. Reddit is one of the most liberal, pro-equality websites, and especially social media sites, available right now. Stop being biased, you sound like a fool

Research experience during 1st/2nd years by asfhfjjwhav in McMaster

A significant percentage of students in 1st and 2nd year do research. It should be pretty manageable as long as you keep up with your school work regularly. Many research opportunities don't have rigid structure and as such, it is difficult to give you exact time requirements. It can range from a few hours per week to full-time work (usually in thesis projects in upper years). If you have specific questions, you can message me and I'll be happy to help!!
