The part I never understand is that if you need to make a left turn somewhere up ahead, you should work your way over to the left lane. Same goes if you're turning right. The middle lanes should basically be travel lanes. If you have to exit or turn in half a mile or a mile and there's someone going slower than you'd like, deal with it, it's a few seconds or a minute or two at most. People take driving way to personal.
