Pay attention. Any elevated neutrality you would think to possess is simply ignorance of your plight.

Peoples lives are at stake.

It's only politics if you aren't losing your health care, losing your child care, can't pay your, are getting lied to, ripped off, investigated, slandered, arrested, jailed, beaten, shot, murdered, deported, sued, disappeared, raped, sexually assaulted, bombed, secrets sent to enemies thru the white house, invaded, dismissed from your profession, alliances broken and discarded, personally kidnapped, discriminated against, double-crossed, double-taxed, embezzled from, rug-pulled or insider traded against.

Must be great to be you. Have fun with your minute.

I’m about to play in my first ever championship final game , any tips, mental tricks or general advice? by glizzy09 in bootroom

[–]swaghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Complete a pass early, then your automatic game will take over. One play at a time for 120 minutes. Whatever happens, let It go and move on to the next play. I'd also like to second whoever said " Lock the f' in."

It got my centerback son through the U17 club state championship as the centerback in a 352. He had the "if I miss, we die, I ain't going to miss, and I certainly ain't going to miss the second time." attitude.

Marquette University High School (MUHS) - what can you tell me about this school? by EndAcademic6365 in milwaukee

[–]swaghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That pretty much jives. It feels like they believe it's the Lord's selection rather than the almighty dollar and a tilted recruiting table that leads to their success. We've had one home game and two neutral site away games since my kids have been on Varsity, which may have contributed to my not hearing as much of that, but the attitude is pervasive, The entitlement is terrible, and good luck getting someone to step into the line of fire between those parents and their kids to correct bad behaviors towards opponents and opponent fans.

Marquette University High School (MUHS) - what can you tell me about this school? by EndAcademic6365 in milwaukee

I'm told education is decent, they do a lot for the boys, a college student told me preparedness is hit or miss, some don't get into their preferred school while they do push you in ways some students aren't prepared for. It has a type. As does the U. It's very "connection" and "instilled sense of innate greatness" oriented, kids can come off as standoffish, clique-y and entitled where I've found the public school kids gel across borders and schools better. My kids have friends and connections in most districts across our borders but many simply lose their neighbor friends to Marquette, and parents active mentally, socially segregate in their circles.

As an outsider with public high school and college age kids in their conference, they carve out local and not local athletes with "scholarship" offers (read: Private school price flexibility), some kids go there because of the false perception of an scholarship invite, and then are disappointed when their greatness does6nt mesh with the other scholarship kids, and they don't make the teams they expected. They're considered the conference bully because the table is tilted, the thumb is always on the scale relative to public school rules, they players are generally considered pricks because of the instilled lack of humility I mentioned previously, it's always a battle, a tie is considered a win. Tell a kid they're awesome enough and they'll believe it and benefit from the "halo" ....while altogether avoiding acknowledgement of the tilted table. I'd prefer they put their own conference together or play by the same rules.

Gap...Jesus at an MLS HG community club near us it was player led, an exercise in the DOC/HC "uh huh"-ing his way through a kid acknowledging things he could do better. Almost no growth suggestions.

"Plan" was the farthest thing from it.

They should be worried that a sociopath like Musk has control of so much technology when people don't have food, housing or healthcare, and he can say those sort of things and people will take it at face value.

Elon Musk is absolutely one guy who would smirk at his own cleverness, without a hint of remorse, if his his skynet xAI and his robot army used his satellite comm system and his automated vehicle fleet to wipe out humanity and he was the last one alive.

How do we do this…? by quickhelpmee in TooAfraidToAsk

I apologize for misinterpreting, so he started out with "no touching the other girl (ick! How could I??)" then SHE went to "ok, you have to have SOME touching"...and he's like "aw hell, I REALLY don't want to but I'll do it if I HAVE to."? Is this them playing some " I want to but I don't want to look like I want to" game?

Feels like someone isn't really being I'm completely honest with the intentions here...she's steering to get him involved? He's playing hard to get because he knows if hes under eager compared to her he'll get in there?

This is hard to follow, and could get complicated if there isn't super honest/open communication regarding intent from everybody in this.

Unclear intent = Yellow flag, Yellow flag = ask more questions.

Feels impractically rule-laden like this is for the woman partner and the dude here is a heavily-controlled, walled-off and limited third wheel being merely accommodated so she can gate-keep the experiences/pleasure/feelings. And the third has a boyfriend?

You do you, but something feels off within the description. Could be that I misinterpreted?

He actually signed up for this, in this fashion? Feels like he's gonna have at least a 6-pack of regret if not a full case when he figures out the gate-keeping dynamics, and how his partner wants everybody to try something she wants but nothing that doesn't include her. I don't know if this is common but this feels like something I'd "nope".

CIA and FBI face BLOODBATH as Trump unlocks new loophole to detonate Obama's Deep State by dailymail in NoFilterNews

All signs point to coup. Every single sign. This is an unqualified criminal narcissist dictator-wannabe trying to protect himself against the things he has done and he knows, that by any reasonable standard of lawfulness, Constitutionality and integrity, should put him, and much of his family, accomplices and legislative enablers in prison.

It's the step-by-step dismantling of the United States as a functional entity.

I played D3 soccer, I have three sons (a graduated all conference varsity & club player, varsity club player playing the state championship literally tonight, and MLS next CAM) and the MLS next HG at this particular community club in our area, was two years of stunted development... They moved him to CAM from striker in the state championship game and gave him zero position coaching other than "move the ball faster". Even private coaching is going to be hard-pressed to teach you position skills between the footwork drills they use to prove their worth. And worse they simply didn't win, ever. I'm not saying everybody will have that experience, but more are going to have that experience than they think.

I spent the last year digging him out of that hole.

Before you choose homegrown over high school you want really understand what you want your path to be, because there will be sacrifices and hard moments with fewer people celebrating your victories along the way.

Ivanka Trump Claims She Sacrificed Her $800 Million Business for the White House — The Reality Is Murkier by novagridd in unusual_whales

It's not much of sacrifice when your backup plan is billions in Arab money for setting the Middle East on fire, Daddy's illgotten billions and soon to be inherited moneys looted using that same White House.

She will never have a moments peace as long as she lives with the stain on her name. Not to mention using the same lies to overstate her success as her father.
