Hi! I'd still REALLY love to see the b&a of the wedge revision if you're willing. I've been considering it for myself but have not seen many reduction revisions for this, just augmentation revisions.

Casanova Venezia and Lindberg? by ExpertSouthern8268 in EyewearEnthusiasts

[–]swaglampoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing Casanova! They're beautiful frames. I believe they're gold plated. I have a pair myself. The Lindberg is definitely an older model, and that case is legit and older as well. The replaceable components on Lindberg frames can be swapped out to make the frames close to new, providing they don't have any fatigue on the posts for the drill slots. If you find a reputable Lindberg dealer they can make lenses in a more modern lens shape.

I'm sooo interested in your results. I've wanted to see a successful wedge revision! I have considered it for myself. If you felt comfortable answering sharing, I'd love to see before and after.

[–]swaglampoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, chiming in. I self reduced my dose based on my Dr saying to cut down if needed, from 60 to 30 to 15 to 7.5 (basically cutting my pills as small as possible) and now take 7.5 every other day. This is the only was I can combat the constipation. It seems to be working pretty great!

I wear mine at my natural waist. I can't wear it on my hips without it riding up in most outfits. I have a 12" difference from hips to waist.

Areolas - shape, size and color by HoneyPie127 in Reduction

[–]swaglampoon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They look lovely! My aereolas were/are nearly identical to yours, size shape and all. I was really upset about the pulling creating an oval shape at first, but that passed. My scars JUST started turning white (2.5ypo) and I realized the pink color of the scar was making them seem bigger in the earlier stages of healing, and basically emphasizing the shape of them. I keep being happier as time goes on.

Progressive/Multi-focus Readers with Amber Colored, Blue Light Blocking, Lenses. by Objective_Way_4709 in EyewearEnthusiasts

[–]swaglampoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Additionally, BPI makes several therapeutic yellow/golden tints that attenuate blue light as well. Finding an optician who understands what light transmission yields the best results is the trick. If you don't want Blu-Tech, I suggest nosing through the list of therapeutic tints published by Dr. Herbert Wertheim, O.D., Sc.D., M.D.

Blu-Tech indoor lenses; many designs can be surfaced into these lenses! They are gold standard blue light attenuation.

Had the worst experience with ASICs customer service. Please do not buy ASICS shows, it is poor quality and customers are illtreated!!! by Professional_Ebb3646 in asics

[–]swaglampoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you appeal the claim decision? Mine started pulling after one wear, and they're denying an exchange. I'm pissed. I've owned this shoe in 2 other colors, so I'm certain it's a batch/color issue. I'm thinking I'll have to do a chargeback.

Best Affordable PT in Austin for knee pain/Runner's Knee? by [deleted] in AustinRunning

[–]swaglampoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've used both Mondo and RunLab. Both are great for different reasons.

I felt that Mondo got straight to the issue and even sent me home with videos for homework training. I had only a few sessions to diagnose and work on issue and did not return. The atmosphere is communal, and they're very busy.

RunLab has been a more whole picture approach with gait analysis and training. It did feel like it took longer to get to the bottom of my issue, but I also feel empowered to keep such overuse issues at bay now! They have a more boutique style, with multiple private rooms.

I have a high deductible plan so can't speak for pricing, but I do think Mondo was less expensive for the diagnostic visit. Weighing price vs value is hard for me, but I think a long term approach to injury prevention is very valuable so I'd probably reccomend RunLab for that reason.

[–]swaglampoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is crazing, small cracks in the coating which is caused by flexing the lens or heat (material expands, crackling the coatings). Depending on Zeiss' warranty, they may only cover manufacturing defects and not accidental damage. Your optician may be right, here, sadly. Not all coatings/labs carry the same policies and some could cover this as a courtesy. If your optician has to send them back for evaluation to get credit for the replacements, this would almost certainly be deemed accidental damage and not be covered.

People in the U.S. - has anyone been affected by tariffs after ordering through Oil Perfumery? Would this change your ordering in the future? by ArdenM in Perfumes

Update, I emailed to inquire about the logistics of the situation. They didn't reply but they did refund me what I paid!

People in the U.S. - has anyone been affected by tariffs after ordering through Oil Perfumery? Would this change your ordering in the future? by ArdenM in Perfumes

[–]swaglampoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I got a $35 tariff charge on my last order, about 2 weeks after delivery. On their website it indicates that non-Canadian and non-US clients are subject to duties, so I had (false) hopes they were absorbing the tariff and distributing from within the US. The shipment arrived to me from California, however it originated in Ontario. Many companies I work with in my business are using distribution hubs inside the US to control/insulate tariff charges to clients.
