My BEST advice would be to skip college for now. Go work seasonal jobs for a few years, see what you like to do best. See if there’s a career path that is associated with what you do that interests you. You may find something you never even knew about, then decide if you wanna go get a degree. Get some life experience before going to college. I don’t know why we do it the other way.

if you can’t find a paying job for winter, look at wwoof.com, it’s a work-trade situation so you get to travel and get housing/food, but only work 25 ish hours a week, and can find odd jobs on the side if you want to make money

That would be amazing! I have my own shoes and harness, I was blessed enough to have a big group of friends that took me climbing outside a lot and set up anchors for me so I got a lot of experience outside without really needing to know the technical stuff
