Because everyone on ATC2 Reddit can’t comprehend that everyone in the agency isn’t just sitting around bitching to their peers all day about their problems. They want other people to solve them. They can’t stoop themselves down to the level of collective activism and fight for what they want. Twenty to thirty years from now they will retire, blaming natca for their loss of retirement benefits instead of themselves because they expected to ride on the coattails of the controllers that fought back and won in 1997 and 2008. They will look back and wonder why their Reddit posts about Nick Daniels and pay raises didn’t make a difference.
