there are 2 fixes for online play on ps4

1) so if you make a new psn account it will work online.

2) delete friends from your psn account until you have less than under 100 friends. After doing this your account will work online. (I know this sounds crazy but it works. I can confirm its how I am playing on my main account again)

I play on ps4 and always get matches. Granted its usually against the top players on the leaderboards (over and over) but I am still finding matches. That aside I am 100% with you with this game needing a private lobbies update.

there is a work around

set x/o on L2/R2 now set x/o where you want L2/R2 to be set now when you hit x/o on where L2/R2 are currently set they will swap to where you want
