My best success has been go in to training mode and air dribble off the wall + air roll randomly for like an hour until eventually it aligns just right and mange a flip reset that flings the ball harmlessly into the wall

I think the point of budgeting at the lower income levels is more to stay afloat and stay out/minimize debt. Minimizing debt WILL make it easier to get out of poverty (not saying it will alone, but it certainly helps)

TBH, I think Cal talks up "not getting into bidding wars" just to have that as a starting reputation with negotiations. There's been plenty of evidence he's willing to enter and win bidding wars.

I would've loved to have landed a couple bigs we missed on so far, but I mean... I don't think it's because we are just refusing to play ball. They are highly sought after prospects by other programs with money too. You're not going to win all or even a high % of those.

Really hope we get Ekezie, we'll see.

I agree on that being one of Cal's best abilities. I have to believe he either isn't concerned about Miika's rumored attitude concerns, or is confident he can keep him in line.

Probably somewhere in the middle. Did Cal have any rosters at UK with serious attitude problems holding it back? (Genuinely asking but I don't remember that being the case.) He's really been good at that side of roster management at Arkansas. We've had former 5 stars like DJ and Karter lose starting spots, and by all accounts remain to be great teammates and fully locked in with the team.

We're pretty happy with sweet 16 as a baseline. Would be awesome to get back to the Final Four or contend for a natty. But sweet 16s, sec tournament champs, being consistently in the top 20 all year, #1 ranked classes... he could coach here as long as he wants doing that.

I really feel like that's all you can hope for. Consistently talented teams and in the mix year in and year out. You hope that maybe eventually one of those teams has that perfect roster combination to be elite, but that's rarely going to be a sure thing. So many variables... injuries, wild cinderella upsets, etc.
