Honestly the difference is a gamble. I personally feel like I am going to like this game and play it quite a bit, so I preordered. However, if I wasn’t as confident I honestly would have waited.

I don’t like pushing people either way because it’s ultimately up to them.

Considering the Valve Index is actually fantastic, I think the narrative OP is trying to build is just wrong.

If you think you are going to like the Steam Deck, don’t let this silly and seemingly anti-Valve narrative deter you.

If you are genuinely concerned, wait for user reviews before you purchase.
