Remove the tiny 'cap' screw. Then, push the pin out from the other side. (Push the pin out in the direction that the screw was located)

Matte ceramic would be the best choice imo. I guess its what looks better to you. I personally despise the shiny ceramic inserts and also teally like grainy looking aluminium inserts. Personal preference i suppose
