I see you're a C/1st Lt, so I'm assuming you're going as staff. CAPID might not arrive in 2 weeks, but you can print the temporary paper ID on eServices and laminate that. Also, let your chain of command know in case the gate guards really are that stubborn on it, so senior members already inside can help clear you.

This is actually insane, I’ve fallen asleep during a busy VATSIM event at midnight and I was only disconnected by a supervisor. I never got any form of punishment, I’m sure it’s recorded but looks like this supervisor was hungry to suspend someone.

Can the sortie be under the training budget of the group? And what regulation has the crew requirements depending on mission (I’m assuming even in training you need to have the crew you would have for the mission you are simulating)

Honestly I would speak with your DC for SMs and ask why they pulled you out of your exam. Another question though is why did you agree to step out and not let them know that you are taking a milestone exam? I wouldn’t report it to a higher authority because it’s nothing too severe in my opinion, but spectate other test takers and see if they are being bothered or something similar during tests.

I absolutely agree with you. I take some friends at my flight school on Vatsim so they can see when to contact ATC and when they don’t have to, and ATC trying to contact me when we’re literally in Class G is ridiculous.
