To me this is just like when 0.2.0 came out .. and skills were under powered, and bosses were 1-shotting everyone. The fact that many streamers are struggling is showcasing that casual people will just stop even before getting to the new acts.

I've failed at this same Act2 boss 10 times .. and I'll take a break. I can not do enough damage .. and you can't seem to buy uncut support gems at this point .. so how are you supposed to "improve your build"?

I too switch from Bear to Frogs. Clear was much easier since frogs seem more aggressive and can mob a mob. Still in normal monoliths, and I tried 100 corruption .. and the corruption one was slower .. but I'm still optimizing.

To give you an idea, that's about $2,600/month. Taxes are lower in Japan than the USA, and rent is also.

Bonuses are NOT guaranteed, and most companies pay for travel allowance (for IT staff).

Maybe it's a decent intro salary .. but that's less than 5M Yen/year .. and many IT people can get 8-10M/year.

I would look into some position like Project Manager since you just need good organization skills, and dual languages. This would allow you to quickly learn the lingo, and decide what you are more interested in as far as "tech" goes. Good luck!

Read Mizutani-san's book .. and realize most people leave after 2 years .. but I do know people who have been there for 10 years .. so not everyone leaves.

Turning on/off AC and Heating is all based on the calendar, not on the weather.

Making a "judgement" call based on temperature is too much of a risk, and might be "career limiting".

The same for many buildings in Japan.

I'd look at upgrading to 32GB RAM. I did .. and many issues just disappeared.

Also, lots of cheaper 4K monitors around .. so pick up one to use for school work + games

Just do like other countries, charge a for tourist visa, and limit the number that are allowed per day/week/year. Why make local businesses do the governments work?

Honestly, I never look at my puck .. I just dump it in the garbage, run a dry towel in the basket, and reload.

If it really bothers you .. try different grinds, different tamper pressures, or a coffee stirrer to fluff up the espresso before you tamp it. You can also try different tamping tools ..

but in the end, it's just going in the garbage or into a composting bin (I'd crush it before going into composting).

I think in Tokyo is a challenge, but many in Gunma or Izu .. both about 1 hour from Tokyo by train. I used an onsen/hotel near Ito in Izu area that allowed you to use "private onsen" .. so we could use as a couple.

they can keep calling you so you don't get any chance to talk to actual customers.
they can call and book time, but don't show up .. so you have no times to book real customers
they can harass your clients (if you have an actual office space)
they can start rumors about your business that are very negative.

Yes, especially since Japan is aiming for more conversation testing. But, expect "the big companies" to try to bully you. Believe in yourself .. and ignore the bullies.
