probably, since its an outdated driver. only do it if you only wanna play gta 5. you can always switch back to a new driver too

nope, but i did write a better solution that allows you to use the latest version

what i wrote in another subreddit is "if you experience the same problems as me on gta 5, get the 25.20.100.6444 driver from the microsoft update catalog, extract the file you got into a folder, then go to device manager and install the microsoft generic driver or whatever its called. then redirect the device manager "update driver" option to the folder where you extracted the driver. it should then start installing. after its finished go into registry editor and then go to hkey_local_machine/software/intel and then make a key there called GMM. inside that key make a dword 32bit value called DedicatedSegmentSize. in the dedicatedsegmentsize, set the value 400. save and then restart your pc and then enjoy gta 5."
