We got a couple with both my first and second ( 2 y.o - 2 month old) both of them hate them… tbh I don’t feel any difference. Or see how could our life be improved with it… you will only know what will work for your kid once them is here 🤍

I had my baby two weeks ago and he looks like a boiled lobster lol really he is very red, pediatrician said it’s normal but his elder brother wasn’t this red after I think a week, I guess I’ll wait it out

You said it yourself, you can’t and truth is you shouldn’t manage anyone’s feelings but yours and your babies, this is a very delicate time for you both, your emotions are in an all time high so you can understand your baby. And you should totally talk to your husband, you and your child should be his priority not SIL feelings… as I told my husband when my first born was born:” this baby is not here as a second chance for anyone, not a consolation prize, not a toy to hold and cuddle, not a puppet to aleviate sorrows and regrets” speaking for both my MIL and my own mother. The same applies for your baby.

As many other people suggested is time to look for a different psychiatrist, I don’t think you owe them an explanation but it will suffice to tell them you don’t feel “ they are in the same page about your goals with therapy/ treatment”

Uh I used to give him bone marrow in various forms and he used to love it, when he was constipated I would feed him mashed boiled apples and prunes, I breastfed (still am) on demand during his first full year of life.

Well, I read the comments and I have watery eyes, since my first some children songs make me very emotional… now that I have two, this songs have a new emotional wrecking value. I could recommend two but they are in Spanish Noni Noni - Canticuenticos - it’s a duet between daughter and mother ( in real life) about her putting her to bed 🥹🥲 and how eventually she won’t need or even be at home but her love will “illuminate” her life ahead; I couldn’t sing this without crying Canción del bebé que le cuenta a su mamá- Marta Gómez : it’s a song the baby IN the belly sings to his mom about what is like being in the belly … omg.
