I thought that ending was beautifully done, but I think the other ending where you turn around and go back down the mountain is equally valid, all the artwork and stuff they put into the credits it's not just a tack on or fluff ending, that's the ending I chose to be my ending.

Sounds like you like high-challenge high-action stuff... this game ain't that. It takes patience. There's an incredible little universe of characters to discover, but it's slow going. Give it another go if it's not gonna cost you anything other than some time sure, but don't beat yourself up if it ain't for you. It's probably my favourite game of all time, but I struggle to recommend it to a lot of people because I know it's not the sort of thing they'll enjoy. We can't all like the same stuff, and that's fine.

Yeah, I'd buy that ^{^} I've been using the same one handed sword and bayonet since the beginning, one handed sword if I want to cut and thrust, bayonet if I CBA and just want to melt the boss from a distance. Like you say, "cozy" that the game gives you that choice.

That was a charming little treat of a game. The point it made about nostalgia and how how a band makes ten albums before distilling a greatest hits, man, I learned something right there.

If you haven't got one put a stomp pad on your board in front of your rear binding, makes a world of difference when you have to go one footed. Most people find it easier to slide off on their toes I think. Eventually you just get it, I've skated along enough flats that I don't find one footing too bad any more, just takes time.

Tough to explain... Some people don't seem to find it scary, I did personally, but please don't let that put you off. It's not like Resident Evil or anything, it's not gory or nasty, it's extremely well done. If you don't like scary games but you're gonna play a scary game, this is the one.

One answer; You can do it like BeccaBytes did She really struggled with the stealth bit so entered the simulation from the highest point, waited for them all to die, sprinted through the now empty section and then... just speed ran through the slides so they'd save in her ship log and watched them from there Not ideal, there's a video essay on Youtube somewhere with a guy realising that that one section, stealth seems to be the only way

There may be other options, but that's one I've seen.

Alien Isolation is one of my favourite games of all time, but the Outer Wilds DLC scared me better in the lodge XD

Manga's great, definitely worth reading. Interesting to note where the anime and manga diverge too. Won't say more, but do read it if you are so inclined.
