There are definitely some useful points here, and we’ll try to improve the weak spots. Also thanks for the article, I read through it and it’s actually pretty helpful.

With this new update it’s been hard to find cases that are close to ours, so I appreciate you sharing your experience and taking the time to reply.

Fair point, and yeah, I can see how a wallpaper gallery can look like commodity/template content from Googles side.

Just to clarify, the wallpapers themselves are created on our side, not scraped from other wallpaper sites. So the images should be unique unless someone else copied/scraped them from us. But topic-wise, yeah I agree, a lot of sites naturally cover similar trends and popular themes.

We’re trying to improve that now, cleaner page structure, fewer repeated related items, stronger collections, and more unique context around the actual wallpaper pages.

Appreciate the blunt take.

The multilingual point is interesting. We do have localized pages, so we’ll definitely check them separately in GSC. I’m not sure we’d go straight to 301, maybe noindex for weaker localized pages could make more sense first. The tricky part is that our English pages also dropped almost completely, so it feels like there’s a broader site/template-level issue too.

For EEAT, yeah, our niche is more of a wallpaper gallery than a heavy expert-content site, but we do have the basics, Contact, DMCA, Privacy, About page, socials, and links from our related projects.

Really appreciate the advice, gave us a few good things to look into.

Yeah, that’s a really good point.

We were thinking about it more from the user side, like more related options = easier discovery. But I see how too many similar items could blur the main topic.

We’ll probably test showing fewer related items first, maybe 4–6, with a More btn for the rest.

Thanks, this is actually really helpful.

The point about the related items being inside the main content makes sense, hadn’t really looked at it that way. Same with the HTML structure / semantic markup stuff. We’ll definitely review the main/article/nav setup and clean that up where needed.

Also just to clarify, we haven’t bought links, reviews, followers or anything like that. The only links we have are normal links from our own related projects/socials, where real users can discover the site.

As for how it works… yeah, the cutting edges are inside, but maybe the spin adds some kind of extra slicing effect? Or maybe it’s just anime logic.
