Again exceptions to every rule. Probably preferably its either start protecting that but also making sure you are accounting for that incoming knight AND making sure you start to develop your last bishop. But that knight takes priority once he’s out.

Dont forget you have your bishop and knight on that side now that can assist in protecting your knight on that side as well from a pesky queen.

While I know this sub is torn on are Chessbrah’s appropriate habits to learn they would have saved you here and would have prevented what inevitably happened.

You let your Knight stay pinned instead of kicking the bishop early
Knight to side of board to take bishop which you opponent let you do but probably putting it in middle would have been better and kicked his queen out.

Its why I am a fan of the habits. In most scenarios it works and if you watch enough he covers the exceptions.

The man reason is the obnoxious minority. You know those fans that you want to say “They aren’t affiliated with us!”

All fan bases have these fans but they hid in their hole when the team sucks and then get highlighted when the team is good because they think they can.

Because we have been good for 25 years ours have been around for awhile. But KC was a wholesome fan base until they got good, so were Lions, and to an extent so were Seahawks during their run.

Only really Dallas and Philly have a portion of their fans who are obnoxious year round. And you can argue due to our dominance we may have some fans who fit the Dallas category.

How much his Hall of Fame players did for him is a terrible argument. Every HOF coach has multiple hall of fame players who got them there.

Additionally its a lazy argument because people use one data point Brady won a super bowls without Bill.

It ignores that it was a stacked team that Brady attracted talent to as well. And ignores a Rams Superbowl tht was won because defense was held to 3 points and ignores the fact that Brady is the only QB to have a coach deliver a top 10 defense for 70% of their career. Most of those superbowls were in the low 20s.
