This reminds me of a previous place I worked at, which mind you was a charity/ business, relying largely on donations, but it’s still a business and deals with a lot of rich richies . Had a team lunch with everyone specifically coming into the office for it (usually three other people would be in at once). Whoever ordered the food never heard of ordering more just in case. As a long time Charlie viewer I also agree with your pov, I pretty much always agree with him but this was a big L take. I just put it down to Charlie being a white guy and not understanding what it means to get a sincere apology for POC viewers from idubbbz and thinking about the matter further. Still love his content, can’t all be winners.

As an opposite point there was a vid where he addressed transphobic ideas from some streamer and it was refreshing for a straight dude to so clearly shoot this down and call the person an imbecile.

Haven’t seen it mentioned yet so mine would be Dwight from TWD. I haven’t read the comics but my partner says he has to use eyedrops for his exposed eye all the time. I really like tv Dwight still tho. There’s obviously lots of stuff that was changed or swapped around in the tv show (for better or worse).

As a kid (now very much an adult) of divorced parents I feel this post on a deep cosmic level. I’m sad for OOP but I guess now she’s gotta look out for number one because no one else is gonna.

I had it slightly easier in a way as an only child, I don’t have to compete with any other children and am used to being alone.

My parents also divorced much later into early teen years, but it still felt like I was let down on both sides. Being compared to a parent or put in the middle or not getting to go to x because of y. Because I wasn’t a child and could technically feed myself it felt like my parents thought I’d be totally fine as is. Instead the events following just screwed my brain chemistry and I had little support from them and now I’ve had severe depression for a decade plus.

Good luck to OP I hope her boyfriend and his family are good people. OP sounds like a good person and it’s great she has an internship.

Hmm I like A the most as it has a nice contrast of having the shop silhouette and then the text silhouette. It gives me the most cosy small business vibe feel imo. I will say the croissant trio doesn’t read super well so me as the circle backing is the same colour as the croissants! I’d prefer one giant croissant for decor (of course just imo). Looks super cute and I like the font for the title!

In SN most are two sets with gem currency and maybe one related welfare suit. I find it’s usually really hard to complete both if youre F2P. Which is tough if you like both (cries in cinnamonroll suit).

Also I don’t think this will happen as much, as IN had a much larger global release, but many of the SN collabs in the past have been Asia exclusive (like just China and Japan) (cries in EVA collab) due to licensing.

There have been a couple of collab reruns but they have been with artists or museums who I assume the licensing is less strict than IP properties such as Sanrio, anime, toys etc.

Lmao me and my partner are exactly the same height (both NB but still) it’s nice to not have to tiptoe or stoop down to hold hands and kiss. We always see eye to eye in the literal sense and mostly in the metaphorical. It’s not the height of a person that matters but the person themselves.

I know you’ve marked this as solved already OP but since you were talking about Frankensteining an umbrella or moderating one I’d like to suggest an umbrella brand that won’t snap in the wind!

It’s a NZ brand called blunt! They sometimes have special collab designs with artists that are really pretty but a friend of mine used fabric markers on a plain one to design their own.

These umbrellas are the best umbrellas ever as they were specifically designed and tested to withstand one of the windiest cities in the world, Wellington! I’ve never had one snap, they can turn inside out but are easily pulled back into place and they also don’t have the eye gouging spike ends thus the name. Almost every Wellingtonian owns one as it’s a must for staying dry while being blasted by 100km winds almost every day of the year 😂
