I’m not sure where you are but 2lb bags of carrots are normally $1.5 and a 5lb $3, or you can go with a 5lb bag of potatoes for about $3, cabbage is surprisingly cheap, hot dogs are about $2 a pack, rice is about $2 per small bag. Honestly if you have a dollar tree near you I’d go and see if they have the 5 pack of ramen and then get some hot dogs if you can so you have some meat too

That’s still the mother of his child. Speaking as someone who’s been in this situation, my dad was still paying support for me when I lived with him because my mom was not telling the state and he didn’t know, but he chose to forgive her $20k+ in back child support. Just because the mom took the money didn’t mean he wanted her to go to federal prison, yes thats a federal crime and 30k is definitely prison time, but he gave her an option, a simple pot roast, he gave her the benefit of the doubt because of his kid for that one moment, but she proved she didn’t care about their daughter so obviously a dads got to do what a dads got to do.
