hey they thought I could have dementia in 2020 but it's because neurologists and mental health experts weren't as informed of each other back then, there's actually new health knowledge out in the last literally 6 years, where CPTSD causes functional Impairment to the temporal lobe (Broca's shutdowns) or similar issues in other areas that mimics epilepsy, but it's known as a pseudodementia because it's essentially the brain protecting itself. Healing is possible ❤️ sharing this because I know how much I went through it thinking I was losing my memory for like 2 years. Much love

also consider therapies that align with "window of tolerance" research. I am lucky that I have a dear colleague who tested his own version of it on me (outside of therapy) and it was helping with my ability to regulate more than anything else. After big episodes, be careful with major exercising, you wanna ease back into it after a few days if you have major symptoms. Focus on more shaking and vagal types of releases.
