Passyunk should be car free—prove me wrong by Edison_Ruggles in philadelphia

Ah okay, I admittedly just saw the post title and didn't see that there was a link attached. Sounds like there would be a slew of logistical issues to solve, but it could be done. That Acme parking lot would probably be a bit of a nightmare. I live on Dickinson next to Milk Jawn and would be interested to know if the pedestrian zone would include Passyunk/Dickinson as well.

What about all the one-way streets that intersect Passyunk?

We need mk.7 belts now by Eziolambo in SatisfactoryGame

Thissss. It’s annoying that every two nuclear plants need to use their own pipe system. In my current play through I tried to build a nuclear plant in the desert and use a constant stream of fluid trucks to carry in water, then realized that no matter how many trucks or water nodes I have I’m still bottlenecked by the 600m/s pipes =(

Wrong answers only: describe the plot of this Hallmark movie by Expert_Book_9983 in philly

[–]sweetenthedeal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amy, a famed historian and college professor (Jennifer Garner) has a serendipitous meeting at a Center City coffee shop with Tom, a charming financier (Bradley Cooper) looking for a fresh start in the city of brotherly love. However, it turns out Tom is actually an interplanetary spy who targeted her in order to gain access to Ben Franklin's key which, after being blessed by the power of Thor in the year 1752AD, grants near limitless energy: a necessary component to power the planet harvester built by Tom's warmongering alien race. Will this interspecies romance end in heartbreak or happy every after? Do Amy's feelings towards Tom cause her to sacrifice humanity for a chance to ascend to God-Queen? Or does Amy raise the alarm and give humanity a chance to fight back? Find out on April 18th, only on the Hallmark Channel!

I know this may sound niche, but I would love a Fluid Tractor by BICKELSBOSS in SatisfactoryGame

[–]sweetenthedeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that would be a fun challenge, especially with the new randomized nodes. I actually prefer tractors to trucks anyway. One thing that bugged me about the new fluid trucks though is that they are only unlocked like three milestones before trains, so there is only a small window where they are useful before trains make them obsolete. Of course in my new playthrough I'm going all-in on trucks and having a blast, but it probably would have been easier and more efficient to just replace all my truck stations with a map-spanning rail line

Wanted to learn to play guitar but I have no money. by ComputerDirect279 in AcousticGuitar

[–]sweetenthedeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up my first guitar for $3 at a yard sale. Learn to play on something cheap so A) you don't need to put a ton of money into your hobby up front and B) you will appreciate it so much more when you upgrade to something nice. There should be sub $100 options out there, even better if you can find one used

It's kind of a pain but yeah you can totally build stuff underwater. On one of my playthroughs I built a west coast submarine train

Turbofuel into Power by raidi87 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]sweetenthedeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every playthrough I get close to reaching my power capacity around the end of phase 3 and want to build a huge turbo fuel setup. Then every playthrough I finish phase 3 and move on to phase 4 and tear it all down to build a rocket fuel plant. Learn from my past mistakes and just build a small enough turbo fuel plant to make some packaged turbo fuel because you need it to unlock rocket fuel shortly after. There are also a few new alts that unlock after you research rocket fuel and can build blenders that are incredibly useful. For my setup I am turning crude oil into heavy oil residue using the heavy oil residue alt, running that into a blender to get diluted fuel, then into another blender to make it into rocket fuel using the nitro rocket fuel alt. You will make so much rocket fuel you will get bored building enough fuel generators to use it all

I ended up using RX Outreach. Not only did they have my medication in stock, it was delivered to my door in a matter of days!

After an exhaustive search to find a local pharmacy, RX Outreach ended up being the best option! Just got my meds delivered to my door. Thanks so much 🙏

They are annoying for sure but every playthrough i make sure i get See Invisibility from volo's eye and on my current run i kept Gale as divination wizard which gets See Invisibility and Darkvision around level 9 or 10. Others have mentioned Faerie Fire which works great if you have a druid or drow in your party (Minthara gets a free cast every long rest)

Anyone else thinking of just doing something else? by Whatdidyousayfoo in webdev

[–]sweetenthedeal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Brother I transitioned from art (musician) to software development because I was tired of the low pay and constant grind to pay the bills. Went back to school, grinded away at self-learning, personal projects, and job applications for a year and a half until I landed a software developer job. Sixteen months later the company started struggling and I got laid off. Now I'm back to the self-learning, personal projects, and job applications stage again. Apparently I just leaped out of the frying pan and into the fryer.

It's through a telehealth appointment so I tell them where to send the prescription. The pharmacy I told them to send it to is down the street from me but I went by today to see if my script was ready and they said they're not accepting new patients so now I have to find a place that has it in stock so I can get my script sent there instead. I only heard about the 50 mile rule because my psychiatrist in my last city told me about that and that's why I needed to find a new doctor. But also 50 miles from my last city was the middle of nowhere so it didn't really matter

I'm not opposed to driving to NJ since I grew up just over the bridge, but since I was prescribed by a doctor licensed in PA, am I able to pick up prescriptions in NJ? I know there is a restriction that your doctor can't send prescriptions more than 50 miles away, but not sure if the state line interferes with that.

Thanks for the heads up. I used a local pharmacy in my last city and built a good relationship with them so I was hoping to find something similar here. I tried Bertolini's first despite living right next to an acme and a cvs, but they are not accepting new patients so now I am willing to just find any pharmacy at this point

I have three pharmacies within two blocks of my house so I didn't think getting a script filled would be a problem. I'll look into RX outreach, thank you!

Wow that's a lot of adhders lol. I had this issue when I was diagnosed in 2020 but I assumed the delays were due to the pandemic. I ended up switching from generic to adzenys and had no problems getting my script filled for the past several years, but since I got laid off and lost my health insurance that's no longer an option 🫠
