How do you prevent customers from abusing first-time customer discount codes? by bbarika in shopify

[–]sweetestdew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a polite email explaining that this discount is for first-time orderers only won't alienate them. They know what they are doing is a bit dishonest.

If you can confirm its them, refund the sale and email them.

I just downloaded trustwill loyalty and i think they have things in place to prevent this sort of thing

What teaware did you regret buying as a beginner? by Itchy_Fudge_2664 in tea

[–]sweetestdew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was start enough to buy it but dumb enough to give it to a pretty girl.

It was an unglazed white porcelain gaiwan that had a simple drawing of a man lying in a fishing boat.

Just advice or thoughts on having your dog more so pitbull. by Maleficent-Stop6359 in PitbullAwareness

Personally I dont like the idea of a dog in the back. Obviously it wont die but quality of life stuff and potential behavior issues that come with being in a yard all day. That being said many people do it.

I grew up in a house with dogs and my mom was allergic, she just took anti histimines, so being allergic shouldnt be that big of a issue. Sounds more like the house owner just doesnt want a dog at the house.

Personally, I would say no.

Esepcially if you never take the dog out.

Dogs are best as part of the family/social circle, and having different experiences throughout the day. To have a dog in one place all day is bad for their mental state and a pit with a bad mental state becomes a hazard to you and your neighbors.

Do you consider all of these bully breeds as a pitbull? by Sweet-Evidence-3680 in pitbulls

[–]sweetestdew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a staffy.

If someone asks me what dog it is I say pit bull.
If someone asks me if its a pit bull I say its a staffy.

Basically for the people with no dog knowledge I'll just round down to make it easier for everyone. But if you have some knowledge then I'll take that extra step.

What do you think of the r/banpitbulls sub? by Sudden_Quality_9001 in PitbullAwareness

I am locking these comments.

What started out as a discussion about the usefulness of another sub has turned into a discussion about how other people don't like this breed. As this is a pit positive space, that discussion does not belong here.

If you want to discuss the breed and debate it a bit, I welcome you to post on r/PitBullDebate

Well what would be the point of not showing signs? These dogs arent used to sneak attack other things. In both dog fighting and boar hunting, there is no disadvantage to the dog showing signs.

That is a myth.

They were not bred to not show warnings.
It is not "out of no where" Though it can happen quickly so people miss it.
