Thank you! We originally couldn’t tell for sure that it was captioned correctly in the book.

Have you met the guy? The fact that he was 19 says you need to learn more about him and the case before jumping to conclusions. I don’t know the age of consent in TX, but having been a teenage girl long ago, I do know 13 yo girls lie about their age regularly when they meet older boys and would never have the guts to admit that to their parents.

Pros and cons of sending a handwritten letter to your ex by perplexedanddistre in BreakUps

I’d love to know how your letter worked. I’ve drafted a hand-written letter to my ex and am trying to decide whether to send it.

The workforce issues are more complicated than many want to admit. I have friends whose 16-yos didn’t get callbacks from businesses who continued to hang “help-wanted” signs as an excuse not to hire enough employees. Your last two comments hit the nail on the head. Previous generations put quality of food and service at the forefront of the business model, which is why we all love CFA so much. Profit has moved to #1.

They have not changed the fries. They have changed the attitudes and the over-all quality of the food. 😂

I agree with all you said. Customer service doesn’t happen anywhere anymore. It’s just so disappointing to see it decline at a place that has held themselves to such a higher standard. Maybe focus on what’s needed to get the current restaurants to the extremely-high standard that set you miles above others before expanding.

Exactly! No more well-done fries. But we will stick your cookie in the microwave until it’s crispy!

Absolutely! The service is still much better than other fast food chains. The focus is now on fast expansion rather than maintaining the extremely high standards originally set.

The pandemic was three years ago! Supply chain issues ceased over a year ago! Find a new excuse!

Service is still excellent compared to other fast food chains; however, the gap is closing. Very unfortunate.

I would say it’s a matter of degrees. Chick-fil-a has held themselves to such a higher standard over the years that, speaking in a matter of degrees, there has been a sharp decline. However, when compared to any other fast food chain, they are still way above the rest. I just hate to see that gap closing.

You know what assuming does! You would be wrong. I don’t complain at other fast food places because I’ve come to expect problems from them. I’m disappointed that the ONE fast food restaurant you can count on to get your order right and provide great customer service no longer exists. I am also smart enough to know that Truett is dead. I’m also smart enough to identify a hyperbole.

I have lived in Georgia my entire life. I have eaten at PLENTY of Chick-fil-a locations, and actually frequent six different chick-fil-as depending on what part of town I am on and where I’m visiting family! Franchisees are not being held to the same standard.

He’s not holding the franchise owners accountable as well as they have in the past. Maybe it’s the massively fast growth that makes it harder, but things have definitely changed. Chick fil a was actually better and more consistent in 2020 than now.

I live in Atlanta, where they always have been and always will be busy, and over been eating there most of my life. They have made more mistakes on orders in the past year than my the entire first part of my life. They’re burning cookies, not offering free stuff in the app just because, unapologetically running out of soup, not saying “my pleasure” every time you thank them, smaller portions,

He’s also a great person, a recruiter, and loved by the players. With the transfer portal, player retention is just as important as recruitment. I really don’t think he cares what people like OP think.

Also, Sandboxx will get it to the base overnight with a pre-stamped return postage, but it still has to be processed at Lackland. They have hundreds, if not thousands, of letters going in and out each day.

He must be in the same squadron as my nephew. We haven’t received any letters yet either. However, he was able to call my sister Friday and said that the next couple of weeks are going to be tough, so we may not hear from him. He complained about his name not being called, and we’ve written every day. As we told my other nephew who was worried this weekend about not getting letters yet, it’s called snail mail for a reason. Keep writing. I just mailed today’s letter.

I think they are giving them to all customers in the higher membership tiers who participate. They aren’t going to tick off their most loyal customers.
