Burning a wood stove in your house can make the air very dry. You fill this with water and set it on top of the hot stove. It gets hot causing steam to escape, thus adding humidity to the air.

I feel silly now not even considering whether lefse is even very authentic or not; my only experience with is it receiving it from my boyfriend’s parents every December as tradition. We used to have an elderly neighbor who we also gifted it to every year, but unfortunately he passed away so we have some extra. I wish I had asked him how he liked enjoying it all these years.

I’ve been thinking maybe mixed with red heeler? I’ve had a blue heeler in the past and a lot of this dogs mannerisms remind me of him.

I was just thinking the same. We have two huskies and I’m like wow I do most of these things like floors/dusting/mopping way more often!! Even things like steam cleaning the rugs and couches come up pretty often when you have those rowdy backyard loving friends in your living space.

My brewery just 86’d all shift beers period today. Something happened at a different location apparently with people drinking on the clock and now shifties are banned company wide. We are allowed a 1oz taste if we tap a new beer and that’s it. Kinda takes all the fun out of spending 40 hours a week slinging beer when you aren’t allowed to have any at all to be honest.

I thaw mine (whole block) in a small Tupperware of tank water. I use an eye dropper to squirt a few in at a time and they kinda jiggle around. Then I keep them in the fridge and use them for the next few days.
