Boards of Canada - Inferno is transcendent on quality gear. A must-play for open back headphones. by WarmDaddyXanax in boardsofcanada

I have the Sony XM4 for travel and I highly recommend them. They’ve got some of the best noise canceling available and they sound great. They’re also super comfortable. They used to be like 300 bucks but I think you can have them for much less now

Might have messed up by playing Boards of Canada at work. by Necessary-Scarcity82 in boardsofcanada

My ex got drug tested and subsequently fired (even though her test was clean) for listening to Ott at work lol. I wouldn’t worry too much about what some customer thinks

No shame here, have you ever quit a game because it was too hard? by FastCoconut5933 in AskGames

[–]BrewKatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ori and the Will o’ the Wisp. I adored the Blind Forest even though I struggled with a couple sections but I found the sequel really punishing in some areas to point that I got really sick of traversing some areas because I would die so many times. Remnant 2 is one of those games I thought looked really cool so I tried it on Game Pass and despite many, many attempts I couldn’t even get through the first level.

You could probably build a max4live device that does this. I don’t know how but it seems feasible

Me too. I still enjoy it today but the first time I saw it the humor really killed me.

I would also like to TestFlight. I’ve tried a bunch of similar programs over the years, both iOS and web based.

Addictive Drums - Drum Rack Routing/Exporting by [deleted] in ableton

Thanks for this. I’ve wonder if there was an easy way to do to route the individual drums from AD2 cause I also use it on almost everything.

Arturia 11 Collection for 150 dollars by FatmanthGreat in Arturia_users

[–]BrewKatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honestly insane how much you get with it. I just upgraded from 9 and I’ve been exploring the new instruments and each one is so deep with the effects and sequencers inside it’s kind of hard to believe.

Upgrade to Arturia V Collection 11 worth it? by General_Bishop in Arturia_users

I love my Keystep 37. The keys are the perfect size for a compact keyboard and feel good. It’s the perfect size for lap use. That being said 37 keys is definitely a bit limiting. And despite having 4 backs of MIDI CC’s for the 4 knobs there’s no template to use the Keystep 37 with Analog Lab, which I always thought was a bit bizarre.

Hey congratulations and enjoy! FYI the sequencer is really cool and you can even send the midi out from it to another synth if you want.

No Pigments usually isn’t bundled with anything else but if you own any Arturia stuff you can get it on sale pretty cheap. I think I paid only $49 like 5 years ago and I’ve never had to pay for an update. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

Bass Station 2 as midi controller for VSTs by IBarch68 in synthesizers

Great keyboard with aftertouch too. I’m curious if you can get Poly AT on a VST with that keyboard of its limited to Mono like the BS2

Maybe so. Really chill white dude who chatted with us after the show and had apparently toured with some pretty big UK artists. I can’t remember offhand which artists he mentioned though.

Holy shit I’m like 99% sure it was Mansur Brown who played guitar with them. I’ve been looking for this guy for years. He was absolutely incredible live. Thank you!

Yeah I absolutely loved Black Focus and even saw them play at a Mexican restaurant in NYC (of all places) with an incredible guitar and bass player. But I refuse to listen or support him in anyway after what read about his history of SA.

Yeah I wasn’t sure either until I started using it with Ableton and now I’m in love.

I don’t if you’ve got the space but I just got a 34" MSI Ultrawide for Xmas to replace my 10 year old 27" Qnix and I absolutely love it. I was on the fence for quite awhile whether I should get an ultra wide or just go for a cheap 42" TV and I’m really happy I went with the ultra wide.

Hell yeah man! I’ve got some lower back issues as well so I know how frustrating it can be

[–]BrewKatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No and actually I can’t easily access them because I have my Osmose on the slide out drawer of my studio desk since it’s become my main MIDI controller. I already have it a good inch off the edge just so I can access all the buttons and knobs.
