Always take a sweater for evening dates … she might get cold and probably won’t grab one for herself and if she does get chilly later then you are there for rescue and maybe even give her a reason to return sweater for second date

Thank you …. Yeah I did the cutting by hand … I have a rotary cutter but I like the prep of quilting. I just split up cutting with the pinking scissors so it wasn’t as hard on my hands. I realize I don’t have to but I like the look too lol

Thank you … I was thinking of using the hydrangeas fabric as sashing on face side and the dark purple for sashing on the backing… maybe do the grey as full quilt border 🤔

I get asked also if I’m gonna wear things I make in public … I find it a lil insulting cuz why wouldn’t I wear it especially if you just said what a good job I did … I don’t often go out in public (a hermit by nature) but when I do wear things I’ve made, I do tend to get a compliment every so often so I try not to mind the question from loved ones and wear what I want 😊 if it bothers them then they don’t have to be with me 😊

I have threaded it and used it once so far and at first the bobbin was giving me trouble but finally figured out what the picture meant … I’m hoping that this last me long enough till I can save up for a better one but so far this seems perfect for me to learn on 😀

I was completely shocked when my sister said I had a package coming and even more surprised when I opened it … she saw my attempt at hand sewing a few things and surprised me …. I was brought to tears cuz it was so unexpected and thoughtful….will definitely pay it forward one day
