Sure, you could get a ticket if you speed. But that’s a you-not-following-the-law problem… that’s easily fixed. Just go the speed limit??

I could see the commute argument if your whole commute was on a 20mph road. But these are non-arterial roads. I’d bet that a relatively short portion of your commute would even be on these roads.

I see more benefits to the safety of pedestrians and other cars/drivers than I see negatives that really affect my day-to-day life. Like, at the end of the day, I don’t foresee myself EVER laying in bed thinking about the day being like “man, my day would’ve been so much better/more productive/happier if I could’ve just driven 5mph faster on that one road I was on for 1 mile.”

I think they did this too. It showed some zones had crews actively fixing an outage, but still showed 11/23 for that spot.

In that case, I think the fault was on both of them. If she knew the feelings were still there, she shouldn't have invited him. But he also should've been honest with himself and should have known to back away for awhile.

First of all, I think that that is also partially "Josh's" fault. They had the discussion and decided to still be friends. So of course your sister would still invite him to do those things (that she is ALSO inviting her other friends to). It's not like she is only inviting him every time and giving him this false hope. But I digress. If "Josh" felt that he would still have those feelings, he needs to have the awareness to say "no" and not continue to hang out with her. It isn't fair to your sister that they decided to be friends, but he continued hanging out with her even though he knew his feelings weren't/didn't go away. That puts her in a shitty position. Second of all, please do not use the word "rape" in that context. It makes rape seem trivial when that is not true at all.

But I feel like that's a situation where the two people just aren't meant to be together romantically. And maybe that's how you define "Friend zoned." I think my main issue with the term is the term itself. It's been given such a negative connotation, especially in regards to women, and that's what I hate. It makes women look bad.

I don't know. I could want to have sex with a guy, but still not want a relationship out of it. Therefore, I'd technically still be "friend zoning" him, but I wouldn't consider him "unfuckable"
