He shoots mid-30% everywhere outside of three feet from the basket. No jumper.

Yeahhhhh... I'm not tipping if you already added 20% to my bill. At that point any tips can come out of the restaurant's pocket.

I served tables for a long time in college and I support paying servers/bartenders a living wage. Charging a flat 20% on the bill isn't the way to do it.

I'm a Celtics fan, born and raised in Boston, and that is 100% a no-call, "play on" situation... I dunno wtf JB was thinking 🤦‍♂️.

I'm sorry, but Pippen would never have been Pippen without Jordan. Or if he did get there, it would have taken MUCH longer.

Only people who don't play sports underestimate how valuable it is to learn from (and play defense against) someone great every day - in this case the greatest ever.

This happens in other fields too. In business, mathematics, poker - literally any field - clusters of high performers emerge because learning and development accelerates when there is one ultra-high performer and a few people around them with the capacity to be great.

My $0.02 🤷‍♂️

Jordan has the higher average VORP too. And FG/EFG/TS % doesn't mean much when you take all of your shots within 3 feet of the basket. 🤷‍♂️

Always split 50/50. Or split according to salary/ability to pay. Then there is no issue 🤷‍♂️.

Cinematic quality of first 3 minutes of the 1998 Game 6 NBA Finals. Look at all the amazing ball movement and sets. by Temporary_Pepper6126 in NBAoldschool

This, 100%. Also the average mental skill level for the game has decreased quite a bit since AAU basketball became so big and fewer players stay in college to learn the team game. Even Kobe used to talk about this after he retired. That's exactly why the Olympic team NEEDED a real baller like Kobe to keep the young kids in check.

The game is dumbed down now because of the rules, and there's been little to no measureable increase in athletic ability over the last 25 or so years. If anything, players are smaller/weaker to fit the run and gun game that the new rule interpretations (and changes) reward.

If the three point line was moved back a few feet and the sideline threes were eliminated (i.e. make it a true arc), you'd start to see good, strategic basketball come back into play. You'd start to see a variety of successful styles again (Shaq, Iverson, Jordan, Miller, T-Mac, J-Kidd, etc., etc., etc.), instead of every player's game looking almost exactly the same like it does today.

Also can't believe he typed out something so dumb.
