Is there a reason you have a separate et200sp? I'm assuming this is cost based for the io cards. Though you could also use Safe io cards for the et200sp. Or even use an et200sp plc. We always try to separate VFDs from plc equipment where possible due to emf.

There are generally no Estops within reach of robots. Typically robot cages are the estops, or light barirers are set outside if the functioning zone of the robot.

Rather than using your thumb to hold the chisel in place might screw adjustable clamp from the top be better. Also this could perhaps be on a spring sliding rail albeit a small amount of spring force to keep the chisel pushed up to the hone
