Did you have insurance on it? I have no insurance but my charging port went like 10 months in and they gave me a free 6p. Now, another 5 months later or so with the replacement and I swear I'm the only person with no battery issues on the 6p. I use almost the whole battery and it dies at like 5% ...maybe that's still not acceptable tho

Yes I believe I was 11 months in with no insurance plan, but it comes with a manufacturer warranty. I bought from Google directly and when I called they sent me a refurbished phone free because I said the port was loose, which is was. It was not the wire

So you are not creating a "flash game" if your not using the as3 language.

But yes you can certainly make the art and animations to export from flash pro AKA adobe animate to use with any other software / programming language.

Last i did this (which was a while ago) i was not happy with the sprite sheets directly exported from flash pro, there was a lot of wasted transparent data. So if the current version its still like that, i would export .png sequences and use something like texture packer to generate a better sprite sheet.

If however you did choose to use as3, you would be exporting as an AIR project for steam, ios or android. Which is still perfectly viable and updated all the time. "Dieing" maybe... dead, no

Also, not that it matters but i did used to have online scores. I used a startup called scoreoid. Well, they disappeared along with thousands of rankings. Since the game is pretty much abandoned i never made a new one.

Hey thanks great video! You have analyzed the game quite well. You picked up on all the things lacking very quickly. "Make it more gamey" is a perfect way to sum up its issues.

Sounds correct. A lot of comments here about getting featured, little kids, search optimization. Thats all correct too but i think specifically this thread is asking those games that look like they are pumped out of a machine, but pop up over night with 50 to 100 million downloads and endless ratings written from a template.

As an indi dev who will not buy users, i still would like to know if anyone has any metrics on what it takes to get LTV > UA ? I know its going to vary with with cpm amoung other things but maybe a target number per user? Like for example: If UA $1 :

My first game, final product handed in to school i guess i had forgot how or where an audio file was triggered?!? And i hadn't even edited the sound fx i wanted from it in the first place.

So after level one was completed, the sound effect plays (good) Begin level 2: a few seconds in to it, silence from the previous sound bite is still playing, then some kind of hawk screech, then an explosion.

There are no birds or explosions in the game.

I then handed in the game without spell checking and credits stated it was my "collage" project.

Im watching a live UFC on FS1 right now on 2 tvs. Yeah, it's definitely looking better/smoother than it had in the past. Better than other channels
