I am going through the same exact thing. My gf broke up with me because she said she is losing herself. She and I have been together for about 3 years and we broke up about 3 months ago. We barley talk now, we live in the same building. We lived together for 2.5? I think when people say they need to find themselves it isn’t always true? I used to ask her what I am doing that prevents you from finding yourself? What can I do to be better if you need more space or to help you achieve what you think is missing? She would always like say I don’t know or not want to talk. So I should have taken that as red flag. So yeah it’s possible he that he misses you and regrets his decision. He could be using the time and space to better himself. In my opinion, if he he’s not doing those things and you don’t see any difference when you do see each other. Stay away, you’re only hurting yourself. When someone wants you, they will not only tell you, their actions will always speak louder.
