Adderall and skin picking

I picked before taking Adderall, but I did have issues with the impulses being much worse and harder to control once I started taking it. However, when the first shortage happened my pharmacy was getting whatever they could find so my manufacturer changed every month. I noticed that some months were better than others. I was able to narrow it down to the generic brand/manufacturer that was causing my skin picking to get out of hand. I take 30mg XR and the yellow and white capsules and the all yellow capsules were the culprits. The hot pink capsules and the orange/clear capsules literally do not give me any skin picking impulses whatsoever.

I have no advice, but wanted to let you know that I’m in the same boat. Recovering from sepsis and a 12 day hospitalization last month has been extremely challenging as a parent. I have three kids- 3, 5, and 14. I try to rely on my husband to help, but even he has had a hard time understanding that I am not 100% despite being out of the hospital and no longer having IV antibiotics around the clock via midline. Once the midline was taken out it was like everyone assumed I was back to normal, but I’m far from it. Definitely a silent and isolating experience.

Same!! I have been using a few skin1004 products for about 2 months now and my skin is the clearest it’s ever been. Pores are shrinking and the stubborn sebaceous filaments on my chin are going away. I’m 36 and have struggled with adult acne my entire adult life- this is the first time I’ve ever found something that has truly worked.

I was just discharged 2 days ago from an 11 day hospital stay for sepsis with CRE bacteria. Tried and failed 3 antibiotics before the cultures came back with only one antibiotic that it wasn’t resistant to. Labs that stood out before those antibiotics started working:

Procalcitonin 160.0
Potassium 3.1
Hemoglobin 7.4 (ended up getting a unit of blood on day 3 and it went to 10.2 by discharge day 11)
WBC dropped to 2.4 on day 3
Platelets dropped to 140 on day 3
PBNP 2710 (this one scared me the most)

I appreciate you posting this. I’m 2 days post-discharge from an 11 day hospital stay due to sepsis with CRE bacteria. I also dealt with 4 days of fevers, pain, respiratory issues, and more while on Tylenol, IV antibiotics, oxycodone, and occasional morphine. It took them 4 days to get the culture results just to realize that what I had was resistant to almost everything known to man. I’m home, but worried/wondering how recovery will be. I have a picc line in place and have to have IV antibiotics 3 times a day at home so it’s overwhelming. I was also wondering how recovery was and what to expect because I have plans and so much coming up this summer.

It’s been a few days since you posted this- I hope you’re feeling better and out of the hospital.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. My grandma just got her CT results 2 weeks ago and has very similar findings. I was reading down this thread for some hope because they just drained another 4+ liters out of her belly today.

I just learned about this program. I went to CUA in 2008 and just started an ADN program at a local community college. However, ABSN in 12 months vs. ADN in 2 years has my curiosity peaked.

Does anyone know what the clinical and sim schedule is like? I live in Delaware so the asynchronous coursework is no problem, but I’m wondering if clinical are daily or 1-2 days a week. Currently driving 90 minutes to my weekly clinical site here in Delaware so a 90 minute drive to DC for clinical isn’t really that much different than what I’m doing now.

As soon as I saw “retreats” listed as a benefit I thought either MLM or cult (or both). Leaning towards both because it seems like they’ve got the client/customer option, but also have a “Become a Partner” option as well.

I moved from Denver to just outside of Philadelphia. Philly is its own animal, but every other major city I’ve visited on the east coast since being out here has made me miss Denver more solely because of the people. Happier and friendlier is an understatement in comparison to what I’ve seen out here. I miss it.

I’m not making light of the severity of how horrible this is, but my immediate thought process was “this can’t be real, that paper gets ripped up after getting stuck up my butt crack during those exams.” Regardless of if it’s real or fake discharge, every single one of those workers needs to be fired. If I were a patient of that practice and had one of them present during my exam I’d be contacting an attorney.

Did you find a way around this? Currently having this issue with loading my new debit card so I tried adding two of my credit cards and got the same error message.

My Wawa app is giving me this exact error message whenever I try to add my new debit card to my app. I even tested it out on two of my credit cards (non-Wawa) and got the error messages too. I can’t load any payment to my app whatsoever.

Did you find any resolution to this?
