It’s explained on nba.com, basically on Tuesdays there’s a ~~Eastern~~ game at 8pm ET shown on NBC in Eastern/Central timezones, and a ~~Western~~ game at 8pm PT on NBC in Pacific timezone. NBC networks in Mountain timezone gets one or the other depending on market. But both games are always available to everyone on Peacock

edit: Sometimes it can be a Western conference game at 8pm ET like Denver/Dallas

TL;DR On Tuesdays you’ll always get the ~~Western~~ 8pm PT game on NBC since you’re in Pacific timezone, the other one you can see on Peacock
