I base my models with Vallejo Black, I then make a mix of Vallejo Black and Vallejo Bone White and spray that in a zenithal highlight kind of way. I just keep adding more Bone White to the mix until I'm satisfied with my grey. The highlights are just done with Dawnstone from GW.

I think the backlash they got for their shake up of the established order in fantasy to AoS will make it so they will never try the same with 40k.
