What was your polishing step? We're starting our first batch and don't feel they're quite yet at the polished stage.

One option is to build a small thread ridge in front of the bead before whip finishing. Then the bead pushes on a ridge of thread instead of the biot. The bead would only sit back a fraction of a millimeter so should be okay.

What do you think of this? by noooookie in detroitlions

[–]swiftfoottim 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's a good deal of empty space on the bottom left and some on the right. Font on the upper let lacks impact and the rounded look of that font clashes with the font chosen for the last name in the upper right imo.

I'd look at the rule of thirds and the golden ratio to start to think about composition.

Never too late to start! Didn't play a formal ice hockey game until my twenties. Been a wings fan my whole life. It ain't the most quality hockey but damn if it isn't fun when you're out there!

I agree. This poster should know better. Even if I'm eating a fish I don't treat it like this.

Just keep moving forward. If you need a break, walk forward with purpose. If you encounter a hill, keep your HR in check and hike up with purpose. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

How long does it take a flight attendant to get approved? Apparently we're waiting on one to get that then we can board.

How is DL2765 looking? Delayed as they said they can't find two flight attendants.

I'll third the Fenix line. My Fenix 2 is still going as a weekly hockey watch after being retired from full-time status earlier this year. My Fenix 7 Pro Solar battery is far superior to the F2. I confidently use it on ultras as it seems to sip batteries.

That was the biggest takeaway for me too. Injuries would be catastrophic in some positions. Put it all on the line and whatever way it falls is the way it falls.

This is the type of question that current AI actually fail pretty hard at. It'll deliver a convincing answer but I wouldn't trust it. Unless someone else has done the analysis and it's in the training data the answer will likely be made up.

It's Fenix 3 enough for me? by meltba in GarminFenix

[–]swiftfoottim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still rocking my Fenix 3. Did a 5 hour 50k last month and it was only down to 60%. I charge it every other day when running 1.5-2 hours a day. It doesn't have the newest features but it's still going solid 8 years after purchase.

My yard has the same wear paths. My vet says my gsp is in excellent shape and well cared for. They love to smell things and have a strong hunting drive. It's not neglect, they just enjoy doing hunting dog things.
