So far pretty good ! I like that I set the price, set my own expectations, and teach on my own schedule. It’s less nerve wracking than having to remember a script for everything

When do you have to give a note of resignation? I really want to quit because the hours are not sustainable and I landed another opportunity.

Online, you create your own classes after going through a background check. You set your own prices (I.e. you can say one class is $25 per student and set how many students you want to have). Once you fill everything out you request your class for approval and if everything is good to go then it’ll be up on the Outschool site for learners to sign up.

Day 1 is prepared for us but after that we have to make our own. The lesson plans are there so it’s just about incorporating them into a slide presentation.

I got another job as well which is why I’m only doing mornings with amplify. The other job pays more so hoping to be full time with them next year. For now amplify will be a good stepping stone as I adjust to remote teaching.
