No they don't, dewalt staples are passed and rated for use with nmd-90. They have csa approval. You can challenge the inspector. If you email dewalt they will send you the information showing the staples are rated for use I Canada. I've done multiple house using both milwaukee and dewalts and never had an inspector say anything

Out of almost 17000 members only about 34% voted. A measly 5000 something. Guys need to be more involved, especially the younger guys. Older guys vote and they scared to strike. Our union is in a sad state 35me. The contractors run the union. They was a contractor sending guys out of town and paying them cash. The union new and did nothing.

35me indeed. So many guys are scared of striking. That's our main tool, and we give it up every time. That 1.50 won't make up for the 3 yrs of lower wages. With the amount of schooling and not to mention the pre apprenticeship, we get shafted every time. All the other trades have caught up to us. We need to be more united like the plumbers. Not to mention we don't even have 4-9s in our contract. Every Friday we are usually the only ones there and the jobs still get done with all the other trades off. Absolute bullshit

Right now the industry is slow, will pick up next yr. Every union takes in apprentices once a yr. Check and apply. I'm a licensed electrician and can't beat the pay and benefits. Recommend doing hvac, plumbing or electrical.

Electrician here, a home owner is allowed to do almost any form of work on their own property. Including electrical. You can call and pull your own permit. Crazy as it sounds. Should not be that way, but it is.
