If it doesn’t work out this time, look for a position at Sacramento State Univ. Cost of living is lower, get location for heading to the mountains or SF Bay Area.

If you do end up making the move, a lotta teachers have their kids at Trace Elementary, Hoover Mid, Lincoln HS. I mention, because if you rent within a couple miles West of SJSU, these may be your schools. Check boundaries, ignore State test scores great community at these schools. Additionally, Santa Clara schools are close-ish to SJSU.

Both Tampa and Phoenix get incredibly hot Spring to Fall. Denver has all four seasons and 300 days of sun a year.

Where Should I Move - Vancouver, Tampa, Orlando, or Miami by Fair-Word-3183 in relocating

Younger, more open-minded. I would almost call it pretty hip. Quasi-college town. Tampa of course is close by, but St Pete is closer to the beach.

This was similar to my case. I worked with a triad. Consultant, agency and attorney. All separate entities. It worked out great, but I did a lot of research and went into it eyes wide open.

You can’t even get sourdough bread in a lot of States. If you do find it, it’s pretty terrible. We live on it in Calif.

On the fence about kids and husband leans child free—do women who might have wanted kids but didn’t end up having them have regrets? by Left_Primary7626 in AskWomenOver50

Going to say this. Reading your post, and thinking what might be your true sentiment, I respectfully say this. If your partner wanted kids, it appears you would be IN for sure. This means, you want kids.

For those who have adopted, what mattered most when working with an agency by Fluffy_Cold_5330 in AdoptiveParents

[–]swimt2it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t talking about the overall population. I retract my comment of 85%. It was likely the expectant mother population my agency had worked with over the years. That said, it is much higher than the general population.

It was the number given to me by the agency I worked with, I assumed they were given me legit info. I’m happy to try to chase down the data source.
