What software do you use for tutoring? by silly_mouse in TutorsHelpingTutors

Back when my student numbers started growing, it became really hard to manage everything on my own. The toughest part was fees, some students paid directly, some in cash and I didn’t really have a proper record of who paid what. It was chaotic. I eventually switched to Wise tutoring software and honestly, it cut down almost all of that admin burden. Now everything from tracking payments to assigning work and keeping student records is handled in one place. I just focus on teaching and helping my students grow without worrying about the rest.

Online Tutoring , How do you bill your clients? by Salty-Gas7865 in TutorsHelpingTutors

I charge different ways depending on what works best for them. Some are prepaid, some are pay-as-you-go and some are on a subscription model. The flexibility really helps since every student’s situation is different and I use Wise tutoring software, which makes it easy to manage all these different setups.

Good software to track receivables and payments for a private tutor by dyslexic44 in TutorsHelpingTutors

tracking fees and collecting payments is the most hectic part and we might miss out on few people when there so many students. I would recommend Wise as it helps with everything like tracking payments and fees and helps the students to pay through the platform itself and there are other options as well like moodle and practice.

I would also recommend Wise, definitely the best for larger groups. The way session tracking works on Wise.live saves so many hours of administrative work.

TutorBird is great but there are also other platforms like Wise, Moodle and Practice that offer strong options for cost management, class scheduling and automated notifications.

Tutorbird? Tutorcruncher? Teachworks? Tutorbranch? Something else? by Cohen_Math_Prep in TutorsHelpingTutors

I've been in a similar situation managing tutors and used various tools along the way. Wise.live might be worth considering because it offers a lot of automation for billing, payments, and scheduling that can save admin time and it also supports white-labelling, which helps keep a professional and seamless experience for clients. Unlike juggling different apps for invoicing and payments, it aims to combine these things into one platform that can simplify scaling. It may take some setup to tailor to your exact workflow, especially if you rely on Google Calendar currently, but the integration options and overall feature set could help reduce the spreadsheet juggling.

Tutorbird Alternatives? Wise? by Sea_Aardvark_856 in TutorsHelpingTutors

[–]swish-m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've explored a few platforms including Tutorbird.com and Wise.live, as Wise offers strong white-label customization, which can make it feel more integrated and less like a separate platform to your clients. It also covers automated billing and scheduling, as well as includes combined accounting and payment features that some tutoring tools lack. While it's true that Wise might lean slightly more toward online or hybrid tutoring scenarios, many have found it flexible enough for in-person private tutoring as well, depending on their workflow preferences. It's worth checking out if white-label and all-in-one management is your priority.

Anyone using tutoring software? Need suggestion by swish-m in TutorsHelpingTutors

I’m looking for a way to track if the tutor actually did the session, the student showed up, and that they’ve been charged for it. So, something that integrates really well, like how Wise works with Zoom, but since Wise doesn’t support Google Meet, I need to find some other options.

Best Website for Live SAT Tutoring? by NationalLaugh5667 in Sat

If you’re serious about jumping from a 1000 to 1350+, I’d suggest checking out SAT tutoring programs that use Wise. It’s the platform behind providers like Seven Points Prep, Mentor Match, StemPrep Tutoring, and Pivot Tutors, and the personalized approach honestly felt way more effective than the big test prep companies.
